What's Become of Rudd?

I've noticed at Tizona and elsewhere that there seems to be some confusion as to the Australian Prime Minister's whereabouts. Why the low profile? Has Rudd prematurely slipped into the role of elder statesman? Did he somehow manage to lock himself in the bathroom? I invite Australians on the ground to opine as to what the old wax-muncher's up to.

Didn't he claim to have been homeless in his youth and live with his mother in a car? Maybe he's moved back in with her.

I understand he will announce a major review about this matter during his next visit to Orstrylia....whenever that might be!!

Paco, did you have to bring up this subject? I come to your place to avoid thinking about the fool!

Come on folks, isnt it obvious he's done a Harry Holt?

After all, he already knows how to converse with the crew of the Chinese sub....

Quite simply he's bored, Paco. He'd rather be Secretary-General of the UN but realises he has to win at least two elections and do some good if his prime ministership is to constitute a plus on a Turtle Bay job application form. What a drag.

Perhaps he really doesn't exist?

C.L.: Secretary-General of the UN? Well, I guess that's ok for somebody who's not really into...you know...accomplishing anything.

Rebecca: Now, I have to admit that the thought had occurred to me. Maybe, I said to myself, Rudd is just Julia Gillard's "imaginary friend".

He's hiding ... from the climate warming ... which he, not being entirely stupid, realises is a crock of shot.

He wonders, in his lonely Rudd-Cave, how to get out of this mess created for him by the Evil Flannery.

Must he resort to REJECTIONISM or DENIALISM? That is his question.

C.I. No, au contraire. The very worst CV for an applicant to the job of "Head Of The World" is to have been elected, ever, or have done, even modestly, some good.

I'm hoping he's gone to visit you lot - maybe to give Obama a hug.

If he has, please keep him.

You're right, Wimpy, of course. I don't know what I was thinking.

Good Lord! I didn't even realise he was missing in action. Is that good or bad?

Saint
"Missing" is one thing, but "in action" would require some valid evidence.

Cheers

Er...yep. I think you have a point minicapt.

Who cares?

Everything's good as long as I don't have to see his face or hear his voice.
