Assortment
1) Friend and commenter KC has ventured into the world of blogdom with Pixie Place!
I tried to listen to The Won tonight but couldn't stick with it. My hand was just itching to throw something at the TV, and I can't afford to buy a new one. I've got this mortgage to pay every month, you see.
Couldn't make myself stay up late enough to watch. There was something on the MLB channel I just couldn't miss, & then I went to bed. Arthritis pain is bad enough all by itself - add in that projectile vomiting mojo mentioned & it makes trying to sleep really difficult.
I could have watched The Won™ address Congress; I was on the elliptical machine at the club, and one TV was tuned. My other choice was some sort of "documentary" about a stunt motorcyclist in France.
Instead, I concentrated on my iPod. Much better stuff. I'll read the transcript; I don't watch political speeches in order to avoid the theatrics.
I could have quite the conversation with Eric Holder about racial relations in this country. He wouldn't like it though, especially the bit about how whites are continually bombarded with the epithet "racist", yet nonwhites are allowed to get away with the most blatant bigotry.
