Atheist More Catholic than the Pope?

Actually, no; however, Allahpundit makes a good point, and I share his disappointment over the tepidness of the Vatican’s response to Obama’s Notre Dame speech.

I'm not Catholic, and I was amazed (and disappointed) at the Vatican's response.

i am a catholic, and am highly disappointed at the vatican's lukewarm response. however they usually leave these opinions up the locals. there's the rub

I was recently informed that, having been baptised in the Catholic Church AND being pro-Life, I'm more Catholic than some who claim to follow the tenets of the Faith, such as a certain politician in Texas - among others.

It would be amusing, if not so sad.

I'm very much a lapsed Catholic for now I'm afraid Paco, but we have an Archbishop here in Sydney who inspires me, a sort of John Howard of the Church, and I think I would follow him to hell and back if I could. His name is Cardinal Pell, and he may be nominated for Pope one day.
