Next time, take the train

Maybe this is the kind of thing that happens when you downgrade the conflict from the "War" to the "Dragnet" on Terror; people grow slack. The Transportation Security Agency accidentally posted its airport screening procedures online.

Assuming, of course, that the TSA ran a taut ship to begin with. I have my doubts about that, for a variety of reasons.

But I'm certain that the TSA has certainly become less concerned about doing their job since January 2009.

Why sweat man-made tragedies? We can always arrest them afterwards.

Well, as one who has frequently been stopped and searched while trying to board an airplane, I could have already told you that the TSA is worthless as security. And they probably know it, but hey... making people take off their shoes is job security.

A few years ago as I waited for the train I realized how vulnerable the trains are. It was startling. Of course, the derailed train that we passed was a bit unsettling too.
