It really gets to me guys, reading that comment thread, that there are still smart people out there who know what's going down, but are forced to commune surreptitiously like that, while the idiots have captured the high ground and are running the show.
I guess if they're smart enough to silence the rest of us then they're not idiots, but they talk idiocy. No doubt that is the new passive-aggressive dominance strategy.

I think Reason's comment thread got a little side-tracked on that article.
You know, I do have a knuckle-dragging, inarticulate side.
Mostly, it stays quiescent, until I read Brooks.
That nails Brooks squarely.
In a similar vein to Brooks' bleating, Germans are now having huge rallies in effect demanding a return to feudalism -

Bruce, that is an excellent article, and a scary one. It sounds like the pre-WWII attitudes are on the rise again in Germany.
As for David Brooks.....that fool needs to be horse whipped. Daily.
