Monday Movie
Harry Lime (Orson Welles) has a low opinion of democracy.
Loved the movie, but frankly, that zither in the soundtrack got on my nerves after a while.

Sorry I love that zither, I try to play the tune on guitar every time I pick it up, for 40 years...
Somewhere my parents have still got a couple of those old FAVOURITE MOVIE THEME LPs and 'The Theme for The Third Man' features heavily. (Also 'The Theme from Picnic at Hanging Rock' and 'Dr Zhivago'.) That's the nature of the film industry - the distinctive gets commodified and vomitified. It is a beautiful tune and when I saw the film thought it worked quite well.
