In a world gone mad?

Yeah, you'd pretty much expect Al Gore to be the reality czar.
The campaign will begin with a large-scale, global event called “24 Hours of Reality.” This happening, scheduled for September 14-15, will be presented in numerous languages and in 24 time zones.
How do you say "what else is on?" in Norwegian?

It never ceases to amaze me that so many people believe that globel warming is man made. Compare the amount of carbon gases generated by man to volcanic eruptions since the beginning of time. We are not making a huge impact. Al and others have become rich by lying to people. The earth may be warming but I believe that it is a natural cycle.

In what many people take to be the absense of God, there are always a few who will try to take the position on themselves - hence Al Gore, Barack Obama, etc. Frankly, if I were a yearning agnostic looking for something to worship, I'd turn to Quetzalcoatl before I'd place any faith in these bozos.

Dear God! Considering the Gore Effect, this is sure to trigger the next Ice Age! We're doomed!

Oh crap, RebeccaH, you're right.

I may not be around here for awhile....I need to go start cutting down trees to make enough firewood to get me thru this.

Better yet, how does one say "Eat Me" in Pashto?

RebeccaH, thanks for the reminder. We should all pull the blankets back out, just in case. Someone tell our friends in OZ to stock some extra firewood, since it's already freezing down there.

Wouldn't it be funny if it snowed all over the world for those two days? Of course, for those who are thankfully without electricity, and thereby not subjected to this, it would be confusing.

Gore never met reality. Anyone know how many carbon credits will this extravaganza cost? Job security in the third world.

Gore and reality? That conjurs up visions of fluffy little critters in funny suits and hats sliding into mirrors, but that's probably just me.
