“In the Navy, we called a union a mutiny

Good stuff from Smitty on the scourge of public-employee unions.

I was extremely disappointed that Issue 2 (upholding the ban on public union collective bargaining) failed in Ohio, but I understand how it was done. The Dems spent millions on attack ads full of blatant lies about how cops, firefighters, and teachers would all lose their jobs if the law wasn't repealed, children wouldn't be educated, Ohio's future would go in the toilet, etc. etc. I guess all the knee-jerk Dems in the state are going to have to learn the hard way: that is, when cops, firefighters, and teachers actually do lose their jobs because there's no money.

The Gov should have walked into the State Assembly and put the Bill up for a new vote. Followed by a second Bill to class unions doing business in the State as corporations, and thus taxable and such.

Cheers

Smitty, I would have called it an Article 92 violation (pre-UCMJ Articles)

@Richard McEnroe
In any case, an excuse to consider keel hauling the scumbags.
