The memorial that we attended tonight was fantastic! There was a piper and drummer, and the Fire Department sent an engine. It was well attended, and there were many people who showed their support with honks. At one point, the piper and drummer led some of the participants into Crate and Barrel for a flash mob memorial. Thanks to Karen Kenney for organizing it!

There is an iron girder from the WTC in a memorial park not too many miles from where I live. I think I might visit it this week.
